How Often Should I Clean My Windows?
For stores and businesses, once a month is the norm. Large commercial properties may opt for one to four times a year. Some like to alternate outside, then in and out, or even inside just once a year. It's all about your schedule and budget.
For Southern Arizona homeowners, twice a year is usually sufficient, spring and fall being most common. Many "snowbirds" have it done once a year. Some like it once a month. We will be happy to accommodate your needs.
Things To Remember Before Having Your Windows Cleaned
Most window cleaners clean the exterior windows first, then move to the inside to clean, while double checking for outside streaks/spots. Generally, if you have fragile knick-knacks and such on your window sill, it is advisable to remove those before the window cleaner starts inside. Most window cleaners are willing to move a floor lamp, or scoot furniture within reason, if necessary. But, it may be possible to reach over desks, etc., with a small pole, while covering furniture with towels.
It is advisable to walk around the inside and outside of your home, making sure your windows are accessible. In the spring/summer, this is a good time to look for wasp nests, as that can be cause for a reschedule.
Also, make sure to examine your screens. If there are any holes or sun-rotting, let us know how many windows/screen doors you would like to have re-screened, and we can usually have that done on-site, right after your cleaning.
Screens do not need to be removed beforehand; you can leave that to us.
